Casa Pedro Domecq is Baja’s oldest winery and the first commercial winery to open to the public in 1972.

It’s founder, the late Pedro Domecq, was a member of the century old Spanish family renowned for sherries and ports, who left Spain for Mexico with the goal of starting his own business. At the time, the Mexican government had banned imported luxury goods such as wine, which inspired Domecq to establish a winery and distillery in Baja California.

From the moment Tony and I stepped through the doors of Domecq, we knew it would be where we said “I do.” Everything about it is completely breathtaking. Through its history and beautiful architecture, Domecq is able to retain a loving, intimate atmosphere, despite its vastness in size. We hope our guests feel as inspired as we did on that very first day.

With Love,

GPS Tips : Search “Domecq Winery” on Apple or Google Maps, rather than plugging in the address listed on the invitation.

The winery is to your left, just before La Cetto and Bruma. If you see either of these wineries, you’ve gone too far.
